- The Free-to-Grow Baby Tula Carrier is not designed to be worn with baby in an outward-facing position. If you would like a carrier with the option to forward face, we'd recommend our Explore Tula Baby Carrier that allows baby to face in, face out, and be worn in a back carry.
- Does the carrier already come with the sun hood or do you need to order one separately?
- All of our Baby Tula carriers comes with a sleep/sun hood, including the Coast Land Before Free-to-Grow Carrier.

- Hi, I love this design! I live in Edinburgh and just wondering if the mesh front would be too cold for the baby? Is this specifically a summer version of the carrier? I love the fabric design of this but it only comes in the 'coast' collection which I'm worried would be too cold for baby. They're due in June so would be a summer baby but I don't want to have to buy a winter and a summer carrier.
- Hi! :) thank you for your message! Mesh carriers are more breathable than full panel carriers, but if baby is dressed appropriately for the weather, baby should not be cold. But of course, it won't be as warm as a full panel carrier, either. Best wishes from team Tula

- Thank you for reaching out to Baby Tula! The Tula Explore Carrier is our first and only carrier at this time that allows you to use it in an ergonomic front-facing position. The Explore Carrier can also be used in the back carry position. It is important that your child have good head control and can sit on their own before attempting a back carry. We do not recommend back carrying your child until they have strong and consistent head, neck, and torso control, and can push him or herself independently into, and remain in, a seated position on a consistent basis.
