Avoid snow leopard fabric - too difficult to use

"I received this ring sling in the snow leopard pattern/fabric as a gift. The sling is beautiful looking, and the fabric is heavy. However the fabric is not suitable or usable in a ring sling. It is far too thick, making it very difficult to pull through the rings and get a decent fit around baby. The fabric sticks and bunches on the rings, far more than any ring sling I have used in the past. The video tutorials Tula provide show a much older ring sling with visibly thinner material. Additionally, I reached out to customer service and asked if they could provide a video of someone actually fitting the snow leopard fabric ring sling, but the video they provided was simply a promo video with the sling already fitted. It is likely they don’t provide tutorials using the snow leopard sling as the fabric will be shown to be difficult. The reviews on this page appear to cover all Tula ring slings (not just the snow leopard fabric), thus the high rating. It’s improbable the ratings would be so high if they only pertained to the snow leopard sling. Disappointed as it looks lovely, but it’s very difficult to use. I would not recommend."

"It’s a shame that the sling is so beautiful because the customer service I experienced was awful. Failed tracking x3 and delayed postage for days on end. Such a shame. Do better Babytula. I honestly wish I had read the reviews on trustpilot because I would have ordered from elsewhere."

Lovely quality, bit of a faff

"We were recommended a ring sling by a friend because I am 5’2 and my husband is 6’3 so it seemed like a good option for an adjustable carrier. We bought the standard length and it fits both me and my husband. The quality is fantastic, baby feels very secure and I think it will hold up really well. It’s already been through the washing machine and still looks great after a couple of months of use. The only downside is that we both find it a bit of a faff to use. The rope often tangles and needs re-threading. And sometimes it can be difficult to get the setting correct to place baby into. We have got more use out of our stretchy wrap and Free-To-Grow Tula carrier."
